Cottage Garden - Puddington, Cheshire
This walled garden in Puddington, Cheshire was transformed from a just a lawn to a magical, colour filled cottage garden with brick edged gravel paths and a wildlife pond amongst deep herbaceous borders. A gravelled seating area allows the clients to entertain whilst overlooking the wildflower meadow in their scent filled garden which is now home to lot of bees, birds, butterflies and bunny rabbits who have also made this space their home.
Modern Garden - Poynton, Cheshire
A small blank canvas at this refurbed house in Poynton, Cheshire was turned into a plant filled oasis with rendered raised beds to match the modern style of the house. Feature screens hide the fence which is painted dark grey to allow the planting to 'pop.' The decking at the rear of the house has been complemented and zoned with a steel pergola which allows the clients to enjoy some shade when the sun shines.
Family garden with a difference - Woodsmoor
A beautiful Edwardian house in Woodsmoor near Bramhall which has a very small garden - the dilemma? We love our house but back the garden is far too small for our growing family. 'Nadine, can you help?" And of course the answer was yes. The front garden and driveway was transformed into a relaxing yet practical haven for the family. Retaining but dramatically improving the driveway with a dark resin bound finish edged with limestone setts. A new victorian style tiled patio was created surrounded by lush planting and hedging for privacy. New statement wooden gates were added to the entrance and a stylish woodden trellis to the front and side walls.
Modern Garden - Wilmslow, Cheshire
A refurbishment of this house in Wilmslow led to a total redesign of the rear and front gardens. Beautiful porcelain paving was laid around the house creating space for entertaining. Inset pavers int the lawn lead to a a bespoke chunky black pergola with red cedar slats covering a stunning Mandarin Stone tiled patio. Feature steel screens provide a backdrop to subtle planting whilst covering the fence. The new shed is hidden away by evergreen Portuguese Laurel so that it doens't become an unwanted focal point!
Garden overhaul - Wilmslow, Cheshire
The clients at this property in Wilmslow wanted to add more interest to their garden after living their for over twenty years. The long borders were made taller and shallower in depth using reclaimed stone already in the garden. A hoggin path and circular patio was created allowing the clients to sit on their bespoke cedar seat under the beautiful old apple tree. Herbaceous borders were enhanced with improved planting and ambeint lighting.
